Finding Your Computer's MAC Address

In order to register an additional wired device (computer, game console, Smart TV etc) with RezNet, you will be required to provide the MAC address of that device in our Additional Device Registration Form. A MAC address (also known as "Physical Address" or "Ethernet ID") is a unique number burned onto a chip on the network card inside your computer which distinguishes it from other devices. It consists of 12 hexadecimal numbers and looks something like this: BC:34:FF:9A:00:12.

Please note that you do not have to register devices that only connect to our wireless network. You do not need to register your smartphone or tablet device in order to use RezNet's wireless service. Additional Device Registration is for wired devices only.

For instructions on how to find your computer's MAC address, refer to the instructions below categorized by operating system. If you would like to register a video game system, please see the Gaming page for instructions on finding console MAC addresses.
